I'm sad to report that our fellow classmate Carter Scott Shields died in a skydiving accident on March 25, 2011 in Gloucester County, N.J.

Scott was an attorney and mayor of the borough of Rutledge, Pa., about 10 miles west of Philadelphia. He maintained a law practice in Media and was an experienced skydiver. His biography on his law firm website said he had three daughters. Please keep Scott's family in your thoughts and prayers.
